Interview with a teacher: After your completed application and $100 application fee is received by the school, a teacher will contact you to set up an interview and an assessment of your child’s needs. Any and all parent(s)/guardian(s) are encouraged to attend. This interview will help you become acquainted with our school and Waldorf education and to share information about your child and family. We ask that you please read our Valley of the Flowers Kinder Handbook so you may bring any questions at this time.
Second Interview: If needed, a second interview may be scheduled to further our conversation.
Enrollment: After a decision is reached by the whole faculty, the parent(s)/guardian(s) will be notified and an appointment will be set up with the enrollment coordinator to discuss your tuition contract and determine your start date. The last month's tuition deposit and $200 supply fee required for enrollment is due by May 15th, 2025. In addition to the registration paperwork we will need to get either certificate of immunization or a notarized religious or medical exemption form for all students.
Admissions Policies
Valley of the Flowers School is a non-profit Waldorf-inspired school. It admits students of any race, sex, religion, ethnic or national origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities offered to students at the school.
We aim to admit students who are and whose families are a good fit for the school rather than admitting students on a first come, first served basis.
Please email us with questions.
We look forward to meeting you and your children.
Scholarships for reduced tuition are available for qualifying families through ACE Scholarship fund. The deadline is June 30th to apply for this scholarship. Please click the link to apply now.
